We did one of the most modern upgrades to the bicycle parking in an office building in the center of Rotterdam. In these modern times when so many people have an electric bicycle or scooter, a bicycle parking facility can hardly do without charging points. Because charging points are not necessarily risk-free, we installed 'smart bike chargers'.
The 21 bike/scooter charging points that our Basro employees delivered and installed are so-called 'smart chargers'. These charging systems automatically stop charging after a certain amount of time, allowing bikes and scooters to be connected to the mains all day long without leaving voltage on them unnecessarily. This makes for much more fire safety!
